Twickenham has recently formed a men’s Intermediate squad for experienced rowers with a lower level of commitment than that demanded by the Senior Squad.

We do not have specific people in specific boats (until racing season), but try to boat whoever is available at each given session.

In addition to 2-3 outings each week, we also complete a flexible programme of land training.

The Intermediate Squad has been set up as a competitive Squad and not a recreational one, so some level of commitment is required with regard to training.

This squad is right up anyone’s street who has rowed before but either cannot commit to Senior training or wants to get back into a boat after a break.

To be a member of the Intermediate squad you would need to have full rowing membership.
