Glory once again for the TwRC Vet Men’s Squad

Twickenham’s veteran quad won their division in the Veterans’ Fours Head on Sunday 9th November.

The event was rowed over the four and a quarter mile course from Chiswick Bridge to the University Stone at Putney. The Twickenham crew rowed in the Veteran F division (average age 60) and finished in 22m04.84s to be 58th out of the 140 crews of all types who took part and beating six other Veteran F coxless quads to win that division.

The crew was; Robert Bailey (stroke), Simon Pullen, Dennis Kenny and John Sewell (Bow/steers). This was the same crew which had won the veteran quad division at the previous week’s Teddington Small Boats Head.
